Wordless Wednesday (not really)

Can you believe I've never done a Wordless Wednesday post? Like my friend Puglet, I always have so much to say so to be wordless for just one day is hard. And impossible. So there - I guess I can't do it.

I had a summertime post scheduled for today but I wanted to give everyone an update on my disc issues. I am doing better today than yesterday and even better than I was on Monday afternoon. I walked the entire length of the house this morning on the sidewalk because I was starving and wanted to get inside to eat. Unfortunately, I fell just as I got to the house but Dad was there to pick me up and take me inside.

I continue to try to walk around the house but most of the time I just take a few steps, stop, and then lay down - it's just too much for me. My right leg and foot just don't know what to do and it pains Mom to see me walk on my knuckles like my friend Walter use to do and like my friend Tuni still does. It doesn't really hurt me but Mom says it looks painful.

I am doing okay with my medicine and haven't had any tummy problems. I don't really like the pink liquid stuff but Mom says I have to take it to coat my tummy. I get all my other medicine wrapped in cheese so it's not that bad.

I'm going to have another laser therapy session tomorrow afternoon. The vet is adjusting my therapy so I'll find out tomorrow if I'm going to continue to receive it on my hips and back or just on my elbow, which feels better by the way.

I slept soundly last night and am back to taking naps throughout the day. Our July 4th party has officially been canceled and I'm super bummed about not seeing everyone. I plan on spending the weekend chilling in the house, eating Popeyes, and ignoring the fireworks.

A big thank you to everyone for sending healing vibes. I feel all the love from all over the continent. My friend Tweedles even sent her magic bubbles and they floated around the house, wrapping it in love. Between the healing vibes and magic bubbles I'm sure to be good as new in no time.

Stubbs!

I'm glad you couldn't be wordless either because we've all been superworried about you here at Casa de Puglet.

My human has her fingers, toes and thumbs crossed that the angry disc gets happier. She thinks it will and so does Google. Even Dutch is optimistic and the hardly ever happens.

If I had magic love bubbles, I would send every last one of them your way. Uhm, it's the thought that counts right?

Please heal soon. And give your mom a kiss or something.

Sweet Stubby,

Thank you for coming and updating us. I didn't sleep a wink last night. Too busy thinking about your disc and how I want it to stop hurting you!

You just take it nice and easy, ok? Slow and steady wins the race.

Sending a hug to your momma. She is doing everything right. You're in GREAT hands, Stubby!

My sweetest Stubby
I am so happy to hear that the bubbles made it to your house and that you can feel the love.
Thank you and your mama for taking the time today to say words that I can hear (not wordless ones) because I want to know how you are every second.
I am going to count on a miracle Stubby, yes I am- so please rest, and let me remind your mama, that it is not her fault.
You have the bestest mom and dad in the world Stubby- I know you know it- and so with them and all of our paws crossed- you know "the power of the paws" we will just count on you getting better soon.
We love you Stubby and we love your mom and dad. I know I am not your girl friend- I am your "earth friend" and so- tonight the forest will sing well wishes for you.

love

Hi Puglet! You are the best! I know you would send magic bubbles and even magic Popeyes if you could. It's totally the thought that counts.

I'm so glad that your human has everything crossed that she possibly can. And if Dutch is optimistic, that must be a good sign.

I gave Mom a kiss from you and she blushed. That you for making her happy again.

Hi Sal! My massage today totally rocked! It was a little hard to sit still but that's because I'm feeling better.

You and your peeps are working magic with your crossed body parts. I know that you are sending healing vibes because I can totally feel them. Thanks dude!

Pee-s: Should I send you some Popeyes? Dad is getting it on Sunday and I could slip some in the mail for you.

Hi Pearly Poo! I hate the thought of you losing sleep over little ole me. Not that you need your beauty sleep or anything like that but you need a good nights sleep in order to keep the house safe while your peeps are at work.

I plan on doing a lot of relaxing and eating this weekend. I feel pretty good today but I know I have to take it easy or else I'll be back to square one.

Hi Tuni Woons! You totally crack me up! I can just picture you falling over with excitement when your food is about to be served. I do the same thing and it's freaking Mom out. I can't help it - I love to eat!

My tummy is still doing good. I know you are solid, just like me. We have everyone fooled, don't we?

Thanks for all the love!

Hi dw! I'm totally food motivated but I don't see anything wrong with that. I mean if I can't eat then what can I do?

Thanks so much for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and for checking in on me. Mom told me everyone on FB is always asking about me. I feel so special!

Hi Dana & Daisy! Thanks for checking in on me. My appointment today went really well and I even got a treat when I got home.

I haven't had any whippy cream in a long time - thanks for reminding me about it. I think whippy cream is in order for the weekend since it's a holiday weekend. I think I even deserve a drive to Starbucks for a pup cup. What do you think the chances are that I can pull that off?

Hi Yoda & Brutus! I'm feeling so much better today that I almost feel like my old self. My right leg is still not fully cooperating but I've had lots of talks with it and told it to get with the program.

Thanks for all the pugs and kisses!

Hi Sugar! Thanks for sending all your Golden Healing Thoughts. They are totally working and I'm feeling better today. The power of the paw is making me stronger every day!

Hi Josie Girl! You and I are almost twinners because we both get carried around. I kind of like being babied but then I think "I'm not a baby - put me down!" Mom and Dad just can't win!

Mom is super busy keeping me nice and cozy while I rest. She has only gone out for 1 hour this whole week even though I told her that Dad could watch me. Moms! So overprotective!

Hi Wilma! Thanks so much for the compliments. Mom says I'm as sweet as candy and I think that's a good thing.

I am trying so hard to get better and I think all my relaxing is paying off. I'm still taking my medicine like a good boy and getting lots of rest. Let the trend continue!

Hi Tweedles! What's a Stubby to do but not be wordless on Wednesday? I knew everypug would want to hear how I was doing so Mom talked me into talking.

I'm counting on a miracle too and I know I'm going to heal completely. I have so much playing to do and places to go that I can't be stuck in "restricted exercise" mode forever!

I could hear the forest singing to me last night. As I was falling asleep I could hear all the little animals coming together, holding hands, and singing lullabies to me. They lulled me to sleep and I dreamt of running through your forest with you and all your forest friends. We will do that one day my earth friend Tweedles. I know we will.

Hi Stella, Gunther & Betty! You and your mom are so sweet. I've been thinking about all of you too over at the Smush Face General Hospital. I hope everyone is doing good over there and recovering as expected.

My laser therapy session was awesome today. I was a little squirmy because I don't think I need the therapy but of course I know I need to finish out my six sessions. Hopefully I won't need any more after that so keep your paws crossed that soon I'll be done!

Hi Melissa & Emmitt! You guys are so sweet to think about me all day. I feel the love all the way from Colorado and the healing vibes that you are sending.

I still want to come visit you guys this summer and Mom and Dad have promised that as soon as I get better I can. Yippee!
