Everybody loves the zoo so why not give the gift of a zoo membership this year? A membership to the zoo? What is that? Mom's zoo is free to the public 365 days a year. Yes, you read that right. It is one of the only free zoos left in the U.S. Even though it is free to enter, visitors who drive must pay to park. They also sell food and gifts to help offset the cost of running a zoo, which is very expensive. By purchasing a zoo membership, you get perks like free parking, discounts at the restaurants and gift shops, and invitiations to special events.
Mom says that the zoo is the happiest place in the world. I know that some people don't like zoos and some of us (me) have never been to a zoo. Mom's message is to give zoos a try.
